  This was the highlight of our week-long stay in the area. The first night we stayed in the lodge and the second in a cabin. It was very rustic but that's what we were expecting in a town that doesn't have cell phone coverage. The kitchens in the cabins and lodge are both fully stocked, beds and pillows were comfortable and clean and the staff was very polite and helpful. The cabins are pretty large and spacious and would be great for a large family. There was a community fire pit right out back and a charcoal grill out front. The surrounding area is gorgeous and there are a couple great hiking trails. You can also rent ATVs, horses or play disc golf in the park. There is a great BBQ place in town for lunch and dinner. The only downside was something we got over very quickly once we realized what it was. The cabin roof had openings where squirrels were able to run around inside the ceiling. It made us stop in our tracks the first time we heard it but after that it was kind of amusing to hear them run around, as long as they didn't get inside!

  Beautiful place to escape to. Quiet, owners are amazing. They have canoeing, paddle boards, etc to check out. They only accept cash or check. No Wifi or cell service in town, but close to some amazing sites you can enjoy with a short drive or bike.
